AL-HIKMAT ALUMNI CELEBRATE AMBASSADORS
The streets of Akoka area of Lagos were filled with happy hearts as the prestigious University of Lagos celebrated her 52nd (2020) Convocation ceremony. The Convocation held from January 12 – 21, 2022.
As all graduands and well wishers wine and dine, it was super ordinary with the alumni of Al-Hikmat College. The joy on the faces of the members of the alumni association knew no bound as they join a number of their colleagues in celebrating this great feat and achievement.
Amongst the graduands are:
- Maryam Thaoban : Maryam Thaoban, the founder of the growing Noble heart foundation and a daughter to the famous Islamic cleric, bagged another degree from Unilag. This is in addition to the one she had before.
- Maryam Mujtabah: Just like every other gem that finished from the college, Maryam is a rare gem. She distinguishes herself wherever she is. She also graduated from the department of Medicine and Surgery, UNILAG with shining grades.
- Salau Latifat: About 5 years ago, Latifat finished her degree program from the Lagos State University as the best graduating student from her department. She thus, furthered to UNILAG to proceed with her studies. Our correspondence found out that she graduated on top of her class, as she is one of the top 3 from the 2019/2020 Masters Degree graduating set. Latifat has always been making us proud. It would be remembered that while in the college, she was the Shari’ah prefect during her SS3 session.
- Ajala Sumayyah: An astute personality indeed who finished well from the Accounting department. Ajala belong to the 2014 graduating set of the college. She has always shown wonderful traits and also proved to be oe of the best fit when it comes to personal development.
- Akinpelu AbdulQaadir: The giant and one of the most notable. Akinpelu, just like others excelled as he bags his first degree from UNILAG. He is a rare gem.
There are lot of reaction towards the achievement from colleagues and friend to express the joy and happiness. Amongst that is the statement of an alumnus. He said “Indeed, these wonderful guys are a source of motivation to us and the coming generation……”
