AL-HIKMAT LOST HER NOTABLE ALUMNUS

The 20th of December 2020 was a moment of great sadness and bereft to the family of the grand daughter of the immediate former Emir of Zazzau kingdom as well as the Al-Hikmat family as they lost a great Gem 💎, ABDULAZEEZ ISIYAKU.
The incident occurred yesterday at about 5:15pm when the young boy along with two other people, driving in a Honda civic vehicle where hit by another bigger vehicle approaching with a very high speed on a three – routed road in Zaria city, Zaria, Kaduna State.
The crash was very fatal as the frontal part of both vehicle and beyond were seriously damaged.
The three people in the Honda Civic vehicle which included Abdulazeez, were injured seriously and became unconscious immediately. Due to slow response and poor coordination, the trio lost their lives some moments after the accident.

The death of the young boy, who’s a son to the Grand daughter of the immediate former Emir of Zazzau kingdom, was announced immediately to the family.
Our correspondence got the information from the elder brother of the deceased, Mr. Yunus Isiyaku some moments after which the incident occurred.
In a report from him, ” the loss is a great one and unprecedented as the young boy is a gem who everyone look up to the fulfilment of his dream in the nearest future “
At about 23:15 (GMT+1), yesterday, the elder brother of the deceased updated his Whatsapp status with the decease of his younger brother while also expressing how painful the loss is on the Al-Hikmat Network WhatsApp platform : “I lost him, He means so much to me.. “
This morning, he also noted on his status that yesterday, 20th of December, marked a year after they moved to Zaria from Lagos.

After the information was sent to the Al-Hikmat Network WhatsApp platform, individuals from the alumni started to express their heartfelt condolences and how painful the loss is.
The first person to send his condolence, Mr. Aminu Ibrahim, said “From Allah we are and to Him is our return. May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, when ours finally comes, may we die as those whom the Almighty is happy with! Amin”.

Abdulazeez is amongst the notable alumni of Al-Hikmat Nursery and Primary School and the Al-Hikmat Family as a whole. He won the 2015 science Olympiad for the school along with his team members. He tops his class and clears all prices in every subject. He was also the senior prefect during his study period in primary six. The most surprising is that, at the time he was admitted into the school, he could barely read or write. But, shortly, he transformed to be an ambassador of the school and everyone’s pride. He is very generous, intelligent, smart, brilliant and very loving.
A representative of the Network, Mr Al-Ikram Uthman, called the grand mother of the deceased to send his condolence.
We gathered from the reactions and comments that Abdulazeez is everyone’s favorite .
In a chat with an alumnus, Ogundipe Abdulhakeem, he said “Subhaanallah, life just dey somehow sha. This is sad. He’s just too young. Doesn’t deserve this “
Another Alumnus, Aisha Abdulkareem posted on her status”This is so painful. Our hostel baby. Yaa Allah grant him Aljanatul firdaus, save him from the torment of the grave”
Jaabir in his own comment about his humility said “Damn! I used to remember sending this guy to wash plate for me. His elder brother once approached me to ask for a cream to boost his hair growth. Now he is gone!!!! Boy of 16 or 17 years. Death laid his cold hand on him. May Allah comfort the family for his departure and grant the dead Al jannah Firdaws. Azeez was everybody’s favorite back then in Al Hikmat hostel. Very brilliant and generous”.

The deceased was buried according to the Islamic rites.
We pray that Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus and make him amongst the martyrs.
May He also grant the family, friends and colleagues the fortitude to bear the loss.
